Hey hey guys...

My camera is officially dead so no pictures until I get a replacement. Canon ixus 700 perhaps? Electronics are not expensive here, well it's definitely comparable to back home.

Weather's getting a tad chillier, first day of winter is 21st Dec but you can tell the Indian fall is over... I am beginning to love life in Columbus, it's definitely not as cosmopolitan or metropolitan like Singapore or another big city, but it's a nice change. It helps that the school is gorgeous.
On the other hand, I am still a girl who wants to live in Asia because we have it best. I want to go back to Thailand all of a sudden, the Thais here are really nice to me but I tend not to club with them because at an Asian club, it's always the Thais and the Cambodians starting the fight. And the cops here are really big and burly like how you see in "Bad Boys".

Ohio is not filled with rednecks as I thought it'd be. It has the 2nd highest population of gays and are very tolerant towards them. Maybe tolerant isn't the right word, they are okay with them. Plus you see an Asian pretty often. OH guess what happened that day in the bus?

I was on my way to Easton (a really pretty place) to have a nice dinner @ Cheesecake Factory when this black (and may I say ignorant) teen asked me this.

Him - Hey.. you're looking cute and all, all dressed up, going somewhere?

Me - Mmm.. (mumbles)

Him - Are you Chinese?

Me - mmm..
Him - Or are you Asian?

me - What??? (in disbelief) Chinese are Asians. Asia is a continent where ppl that come from there are Asians. Being Chinese is an ethnicity or a nationality (if you are born and bred in China)

Him - Oh, I though Asia is a Country. Like China, Japan, etc.

That's one thing I hate. People need to get out more here, or read the papers occasionally.
But let's leave that for another day. Some visuals before I run off to math class.


Taken outside a club.. I can't remember if it was Long Street or Spice. Oh, Spice is a not too shabby club we have here. Downside for almost every AKP, you can't smoke in clubs here. But there's always an outdoor area for smokers. Goodside for every AKP, drinks are dirt cheap (but no more for Charles, I don't want pictures of his ass again!) Oh yes, why are we always having pictures of Charles naked butt?

I walk by this tree every day to Japanese class. I love how beautiful the main campus is. Every huge tree has a bench under it and I never fail to stop to search for squirrels.

This tree is now bare. I actually prefer bald trees that trees with leaves.

But the colors are quite breathtaking.

And this is me after my nice fancy shmancy dinner @ cheesecake Factory. People don't camwhore as much as singaporeans, plus my camera's really acting up, so while it's alive, I like and choose to be vain... -grins-
But seriously, I miss you guys esp you-know-who. I guess the time apart will do us some good. I'd die if I was a clingy girlfriend, probably disrupt studies. Ha-bloody-ha-ha.
